Harry Clarke was an Irish artist (1889-1931) who was known for his book illustrations and stained glass creations. Important figure in the Arts and Crafts movement and was heavily influenced by Art Nouveau and Art Deco.
Bob and his Fiddle in old Georgia. Music born in adversity. Once freed, many of the former slaves and their children had no where to go. These are the houses built mostly during the Slave Years —- before the Civil War, and Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation.
